End of season round up

I thought I’d just give a quick wrap for my season now it fully finished. I knew it would be a big step up into the U23 category this year so I made sure I had a good preparation in the winter with my coach Dean Downing, which lead into a big block of training in Calpe, I think it worked really well with me hitting the season feeling a level above what I had as a junior.

For me overall I’d say I am pleased with the year I’ve had, obviously there were ups and downs but I’d say the ups definitely outweighed them. The results I was most proud of were a top 20 on GC at the Baby Giro, 14th on one of the queen stages, 12th at Recioto UCI, 16th at Trofeo Piva UCI, 18th at Degasperi UCI and a top 10 at Monte Urano Elite Italian National. Also I finished 21st on one of the stages of the Val d’ Aosta.

I’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has helped me throughout the year, it wouldn’t be possible without your support! I’m already looking forward to next year and after a break to refresh and recover I will start my winter training to begin build up into the 2020 season, where I hope to continue my development.
